The Final Newsletter
It's Time to Graduate
On January 1st, I published a special newsletter explaining why I was moving to a premium model. The thought was based on my experience and science: If something is free, its value is rarely understood. To put it better, free information is trash. This newsletter likely fits into that category.
I am uncomfortable charging for this or the podcast, as I initially thought it might help you even further. However, after posting the podcast and newsletter, I realized I had nothing more to say.
Investing is hard work but not complicated work. Once you learn the basic rules of compounding and the rules of the beehive and apply them, there isn’t much left to do. If we do it correctly, it’s like watching paint dry.
As I watched the idiots on CNBC this morning while working out, I became even more disgusted with the state of educating the public on financial matters. “What’s in it for them or how they are getting compensated” was the motivation for the “advice” given today and most days.
So, you might need a once-a-year update, which I cannot do.
The other motivator for shutting this down is my need to be hyper-focused and have hyper-urgency in my two work areas:
1. Investing in public and private assets, including real estate, is one of my passions. I love researching, learning, and calculating success and failure probabilities.
2. I am continuing my intensive work in honeybee and ecosystem research. We are about to launch our AI platform, giving beekeepers worldwide a free tool to better understand their hives’ health.
So, this is it. I will get all my newsletters from the platform and put them into one document for my grandchildren. Eventually, I’ll post that at the beemoneysimple.org site if you are interested. It will be free.
Could you do me one favour? Keep working to learn how to manage and invest your hard-earned dollars.
Never, and I mean never, give control of your money to someone else.
Bee well. Hank
