Three Money Survival Strategies You Must Start Today

Bee Monday Motivated

Survival is the main goal for honeybees and should be for you as well. It’s not something you can put aside till next week or later in the year. Knowing that you can financially survive puts behind you the anxiety of not knowing. Having some money, a few ounces of silver perhaps can make the world of difference.

Here are my three strategies that keep me sleeping as the world seems to be crashing around us.

1. Keep cash and spend less. Instead of spending it on things you don’t need for a day, take that money, and put it in a savings account. From a few dollars to thousands skim a bit from your checking account and do that now. Tomorrow, do it all over again. Soon you will have 6 months’ worth. When you have some money saved buy a little bit of gold or silver.

2. Build your expertise and skill set. I can keep bees. I can grow garlic. Those are the two non-brain skills I have. Believe it or not they help me relax when I think of survival. Build your skills in a few very specific areas and be the best at those.

3. Cook and make coffee at home. Learn to cook with simple or local ingredients. If you can, plant a garden that will help you stay self-sufficient regardless of what happens. If you live in a rural area, work to get to know your local producers. Find out how your food is being grown to make sure that it is healthy.

Honeybees survive by building up their money (honey) to meet the needs of their family. If they live in a large house (hive) they need more honey and are more likely to die. A small house that just meets their needs, is easy to keep warm in the winter and store their food is ideal.

In the end survival is an instinct that keeps popping up during times of anxiety for us. Find what things you can do to keep it in check and in a practical way, ensure your survival. My 3 strategies should get you started.
